I was messing around with the camera the other day while Oshie was relaxing on the couch and I thought it would be a good time to give a photo like this a try. I have seen many photos with a reflection of the photographer in their subject’s eye and wanted to give it a try. Oshie was in a calmly waiting for mom to get home so I decided to take the opportunity to get this shot. Normally he would have either tried to play or turned his head as soon as I sat in front of him.
Here is the photo in color and black and white. I think they turned out cool.
I am not sure which one works better, B/W or color. What do you think? As always thanks for stopping by.

Nice shot – you got the eye nice and sharp.

Thanks and yeah I finally did ha-ha. I always have trouble getting his eyes sharp. It is usually his nose that is the sharpest. I chalk it up to user error and rushing my shots. I still have a lot of work to do as far as photography goes.

I love the soft, warm colors of the color shot. The reflection shows up nicely in the darkness of his eye.
