Oshie's World

Life Through A Golden Eye

Sand… Sand Everywhere!

Just a few shots of Oshie as a puppy. He loves going to the beach! What he really loves doing is digging into the sand for a nice cool place to lay down and then rolling around in it. He brings enough sand some in his fur to start his own beach at home.

High Fashion

Oshie doesn’t always let us put clothing or accessories on him but when he does it turns out pretty funny. These photos are from when we was maybe 6 months old which is why his coat looks so short. I don’t remember where we were heading but we thought it would be funny to put some sunglasses on him. Unfortunately for Oshie they were a womens model. I think he pulls it off we will just lie and say he was going for the High Fashion Look.

Bandanna

What is more adorable than a Golden Retriever in a Bandanna? Not much…except for a Golden Retriever Puppy in a Bandanna. Oshie sports his favorite accessory.

Weekend Starbucks Run

Oshie loves the weekend. He is always up early and bothers Nancy non-stop until we get up. He will lay on top of her and hit her with his paws or lick her face until she has had enough and gets out of bed. He does this because he knows that on the weekends we take him for a car ride to get coffee. He is so funny. Oshie paces around anxiously and whines as we get ready.

As soon as we open the door he bolts to the car and sits next to the back door ready to jump in. With the windows down we cruise to Starbucks and he hangs out the window taking in all the scents. As we order our drinks he waits impatiently and when we get to the pick-up window he hangs out his window and stares at the workers intently. We always get him a puppuccino which is a kids Starbucks cup filled with whipped cream. Starbucks is awesome and gives them out for free if you just ask. In typical Golden fashion it is usually gone before we even pull away. He loves his weekend trips for coffee and the Starbucks employees love seeing him.

Safety First!

Nancy and decided the weather last evening was perfect for a walk around the neighborhood. It was around eight in the evening and the sun ad already finished setting. It wasn’t dark yet but we knew it would be soon. Naturally we could not leave the house without Oshie so we decided to take him along.

Lately we have been letting him wander ahead and explore. We live in a quiet neighborhood that is really friendly but cars do come through a bit fast. We decided it would be a good idea to make Oshie more visible and this was the result. He loved the walk and we eventually readjusted the glow belt so to prevent it from squeezing his man hood.
