We had a fun weekend! The weather was gorgeous here in North Carolina, so much so that Oshie enjoyed a romp in the waves at the beach on Saturday and on Sunday we went for a “nature walk” in shorts and t-shirts.
As much as I love snow and miss living in the north and around mountains, I can’t complain when the end of January weather consists of cloudless 70 degree days.
Here are a few shots from the weekend activities. The Pelicans were seen on our nature walk on Sunday. They let us get pretty close before they became uncomfortable and took off.

Not sure if you read it… we went up to Denmark and had one storm after the other… as I type this – another storm heading our way. Tried to beat the weather at home and it beat us 😀 🌨 🌬

I hadn’t seen that yet but admittedly I need to catch up on all the blogs I follow. That certainly doesn’t sound like fun though. I hope you get some better weather soon!

Going home tomorrow… we’ll come back in April maybe – see how we go. Despite the weather it’s a great place and a paradise for dogs!

Thank you! Winter in the Carolinas is generally pretty mild. The past few days have been beautiful though. I do love California weather though. My wife is from Los Angeles and her mother still lives there so we visit as often as we can.
