You would think that dogs with their heightened sense of hearing and smell would be Hide and Seek Champions. Well this video of Oshie proves that idea wrong. The video doesn’t do justice to just how long it took Oshie to find Nancy. At the point where he heads downstairs I cut and started filming again when he came back upstairs. He spent a decent amount of time down there ha-ha. Enjoy!
Here is a quick video of Oshie as a puppy. I had given him some ice cubes to play with and he wasn’t exactly sure if he could trust me.
I love going through all of our old photos and seeing how much Oshie has grown. Like any dog parents, we miss how small and cute he was but we definitely don’t miss the puppy antics. This is a photo from last summer during a road trip to my parents house to see my younger brother graduate from High School.

Just a few shots of Oshie as a puppy. He loves going to the beach! What he really loves doing is digging into the sand for a nice cool place to lay down and then rolling around in it. He brings enough sand some in his fur to start his own beach at home.
Good day! It has been a while since the last post and for that I apologize. So on to the topic of this post…. sleep and more specifically the positions dogs choose for their favorite pastime. As a human I have the luxury of laying on a comfortable Tempur-Pedic mattress. No matter what position I choose I am always comfortable. Oshie on the other hand sleeps on the floor. This is not because we make him but because he chooses to. He has had a dog bed ever since we brought him home but he has never slept on it. The most he will ever do is use it as a pillow for his head.
Oshie is a spoiled pup and we allow him on the furniture as long as he isn’t wet or muddy but for some reason when it comes to sleeping he prefers the floor. The strangest part about this is the positions that he ends up in. I look at him and wonder how he is comfortable but at the same time can’t help but laugh. His favorite strange position is lying on his back fully extended. He has done this since he was just a little fluff ball. Here are some pictures of him doing what he does best..sleeping.
I don’t know how this is so comfortable to him. At least it makes for some funny photos. If you like this post and are a pet owner please comment and share any odd/funny sleeping positions that your pet ends up in. Thanks!
