Oshie loves doughnuts!

Being the spoiled dog that he is, Oshie has developed a taste for the finer things in life like fresh (well maybe not really fresh) doughnuts. On the weekends we usually take a morning drive with a mandatory stop for coffee to fuel the rest of the day. Of course Oshie tags along on the rides because he loves being in the car with the windows down where he can catch all the scents! This means that he usually gets a treat in the form of whipped cream or the occasional plain doughnut. Don’t worry we know they aren’t good for him and he doesn’t get them everyday, but a treat every once in a while isn’t going to hurt right? And it is impossible to say no to that face!

Anyway here is a short video of Oshie, who had already eaten his treat, practically begging for the doughnut that I had saved for myself. You also get to see his newest trick at the end! He has learned speak. Probably the hardest trick to teach so far as he is not much of a barker. Enjoy!

Oshie Loves Corn

Just a short video of Oshie enjoying a piece of corn. The way he eats it cracks us up.

Can I Have Some?

Another photo from the trip to Asheville. We had pizza for lunch downtown and that happens to be one of Oshie’s favorite foods ha-ha. I will have some more pictures from the trip posted soon. There are still a bunch from the mountains and the Biltmore house that I haven’t processed.

If I stare long enough maybe they will give me some pizza bones

Day 32: Ice Cream For Oshie

While visiting Antler Village and Winery on the Biltmore Estate we had to try the ice cream from the creamery. Of course being the spoiled pup that he is, Oshie had a cup of vanilla all to himself.

Oshie is so spoiled. He loves some vanilla ice cream!

We enjoyed it on the grass while live music played from the gazebo in front of us. It was an awesome and relaxing evening.

I am still going through all the photos I captured on the trip and will be posting more of the edited keepers soon. Thanks for stopping by and have an excellent weekend!

Day 23: Cars

As mentioned in the post I made yesterday, Nancy and I went to a BBQ festival this weekend. We were a bit disappointed as we were expecting to find amazing BBQ being smoked all over the venue. Maybe we got there to late/early but this was not the case. We still managed to get some traditional North Carolina pulled pork but it was from a catering company and not some amazing southern pit-master with crazy family secrets.

Despite the lack of BBQ we still had fun. We had never been to Kinston and the historic downtown section where the festival took place was interesting and I am glad we went. Personally my favorite part of the festival was the car show. We arrived as it was wrapping up but there were still plenty of cars to admire. I didn’t take many photos as it was mid afternoon and the lighting was harsh. The weather was perfect for walking around though so I can’t complain. These are the best of the shots I did take.
