Steve Arpin’s crew came up with a unique way of keeping the wheels from filling with dirt from the course. The final was cancelled due to weather so they didn’t get to see how well the tape would actually work.
The GRC Lites had a tough time at MCAS New River. There were quite a few incidents throughout the weekend. Here is one of the bigger ones.

Oshie and two of his siblings the week before he came home.
Sverre Isachsen’s Subaru got a ride back to the pits after it caught fire in a heat race. It was pretty well on fire but in typical form he pushed on for another half lap before he pulled over and jumped out. He was back out racing in no time thanks to the awesome Subaru maintenance team.
Oshie loves a good breeze in his face. With that much fur covering my body during the summer I am sure I would too. Another reason he loves the breeze is because it carries all the wonderful scents right to his nose. He can just stand there with his face tipped slightly up and inhale all smells of the world around him.
